LIBRARY : The Library became functional the same year the University was established in 1982, and moved to its permanent ultramodern building in April 2006. The building is made up of three floors. The Reading areas and offices are evenly distributed within the building complex. The Library presently has over 67,847 volumes of books and above 1,500 journal titles. The opening hour is 8.00 a.m. – 9.00 p.m., Monday to Friday, while Saturdays is 9.00 a.m. - 6.00p.m. and Sundays is 4.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m.
FUTA SECONDARY SCHOOL: FUTA Staff Secondary School was founded on the 16th November, 1992 and it is located within the premises of the Federal University of Technology, Akure in Ondo State. The school presented her first set of candidates for JSSCE in 1995 and her first SSSCE candidates in 1998 with excellent results and this has become the bench mark for subsequent years’ results.
FUTA PRIMARY SCHOOL:The Staff school was established on Monday, 14th November, 1983. It was established to carry out the following functions amongst others.
(i)To give education to the children of the University staff and other children within the immediate community
(ii)To ensure the achievement of high moral and academic standards
(iii)To create a community of learners who are physically and mentally healthy, efficient and responsible and whose behavior is acceptable to society. The school started with an initial population of thirty nine pupils in the class of Nursery I, thirteen
SERVICOM: Is a Federal Government initiative with a singular objective of meeting the challenge of nationwide service failure in all facets of public services to all Nigerians. This was as a result of a diagnostic survey sponsored by the Federal Government which discovered that service delivery in Nigerian Institutions is not serving the people. Services are inaccessible, poor in quality and indifferent to citizens’ needs.
